Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

  1. Live UP Media is steadfast in its commitment to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain.

  2. This statement is made in line with the principles of Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act and outlines the steps we take to identify, tackle, and prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain.

  3. There have been no reported incidents of modern slavery or human trafficking within our business or supply chain during the previous financial year.

Our Policies

  1. We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain. Our anti-slavery and human trafficking policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place.

  2. Our HR policies and procedures are regularly reviewed to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and to protect the rights and freedoms of all those working with us. These policies address issues such as working hours, conditions, whistleblowing, discrimination, health and safety in the workplace, holiday and sick pay, and the protection of personal data.

Risk Assessment

  1. An annual risk assessment related to modern slavery and human trafficking is conducted by our team. We recognize that risks may exist in our supply chain, particularly with third-party suppliers, and we focus on minimizing these risks through effective due diligence processes and robust contractual terms.

Due Diligence

  1. Live UP Media engages with a variety of independent producers and service suppliers. We contract only with those who meet or are committed to meeting our labor and welfare standards. Suppliers are engaged only after we are assured that they have necessary safeguards against modern slavery or human trafficking in their operations and supply chains.

Supplier Commitments

  1. When contracting with suppliers, we require them to:

    a) comply with all applicable laws, including those concerning modern slavery; and

    b) ensure that they have appropriate practices and procedures in place to prevent human trafficking and slavery in their organizations and supply chains.

We continually monitor our suppliers and will end our relationship with any that we believe may be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.

Conclusion

  1. Live UP Media is committed to continuously reviewing and updating our policies, procedures, and practices related to modern slavery and human trafficking. Changes will be reflected in future statements.

This statement is approved for the financial year ending 31st December 2022.
